Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toniz Collins (born in Mexico) is the Mexican American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation and serves as a SportsCenter anchor. Her first job for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual from age nine. Her skills were instrumental in helping her land her first job as a an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami in which she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Her next assignment was a Sports Reporter at CBS St. Petersburg. CBS St. Petersburg Affiliate. In 2009 she relocated to Texas to Rio Grande Valley where she became a news correspondent at KNVO TV 48 Univision. In addition to reporting on issues related to the issue of immigration and drug trafficking from both sides of the border, she served as a reporter on the 5 p.m. Spanish newscast a anchor, reporter and later anchor for anchoring the 9 p.m. news in English, and an anchor for the at 10 p.m. Spanish newscast. In addition, she was an anchor for anchors of sports and weather forecasters. Deportes 23 is Univision Dallas' affiliate, where she is more responsible. She was born November 22 on the 22nd of October, 1985 in Mexico City. Also, she has an older sibling. She has an older sister. She divorced her parents shortly thereafter and, in 1995, she was married a naval architect named Fabio Fajardo. Fabio Fajardo died in 2006 of kidney cancer. The summer in 2006 she took an entire week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. As a senior in high school and yet having a clear vision of what she wanted to do with her life Antonietta visited at the University of Mount Union to examine if it was a good fit for her preferences. She loved the campus. They also offered her the major that she desired. After completing her high school education, she attended the University to pursue media studies. She developed a long-lasting relationship with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the director at WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was an affiliate. His passion for journalism and her self-confidence inspired her. In turn, she, tried to meet his expectations and never let him down.
